The food was delicious! It's definitely worth the stop. Very eccentric inside (writing/drawings on the walls and ceilings) but very homey feel. I felt like I was eating in my Southern grandma's kitchen.

Pulled chicken and pulled pork plates are what we tried, with mac and cheese, green beans, and sweet corn muffins. The meat was seasoned to perfection. Even though the meat wasn't hot—it was room temperature at best—the flavor made me forget it wasn't. The sides: the mac and cheese was just okay. It would be better if they used premium cheese and undercooked it before reheating to create a mushier texture in the large shells. The baked beans were so hot I burned my tongue (microwave). They moved people in and out quickly. It's a small, cute place. I would give them another try to see if everything was hot the next time.

Really enjoyed everything I had here. Nice BBQ menu and decent selection of beer and other drinks. Ordered the brisket at the counter with baked beans and mac and cheese (2 sides came with the meal). Order was called out for pick up in about 10 minutes and sat at one of the tables that had about 8 different kinds of BBQ sauces. Everything was delicious and the portions definitely filled me up. Brisket was cut into chunks, not sure if they would slice it for you. Pick your favorite sauce and have at it! This isn’t fine dining, so come as you are. Walls and ceilings are covered with the names of visitors, so that was fun. Will be back if in the area again. Didn’t take a picture since I ate my food so fast!
